Review of Masters of the Universe (1987) by Eifion P — 27 Feb 2008
In a lot of ways, this is your basic 80s sci-fi fantasy fare, if you ignore that it comes from fandom. Mostly mindless fun. Lundgren is incomprehensible as He-man, but the real gem in this film is Frank Langella, who portrays Skeletor with so much seriousness and professionalism that you might assume he was a villain taken from a much better written and bigger budget movie.
