Review of Masters of the Universe (1987) by Robbie H — 28 Nov 2010
The only redeeming element that keeps me from giving this zero stars is Frank Langella's brilliant, creepy, commanding performance as Skeletor..its literally worth watching this film, or at least Langella's scenes, for that purpose alone.
..he is brilliant..im talking oscar worthy..if Olivier played Skeletor..it would be close to this..hes that good...other than that, this is prolly the worst film ever made..incredibly cheesy..awful special effects.
.Lundgren is AWFUL as He-Man..action scenes are scattershot and boring..no memorable characters other than Langellas Skeletor.
