Review of Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003) by Jeremy M — 01 Nov 2011
One of the best high seas adventure movie one can see. Master and Commander was released during the same time as "Pirates of the Caribbean" but offered a more rigid take on life at sea. Russel Crowe's outstanding acting leads not only his crew through the film, but the audience as well as we all anticipate his victory over the French.
The films battle scenes are marvelously shot and it's musical adds harmony that all in all makes you want to board a ship and sail the seas. So good.
