A truly sensational sea-faring adventure featuring Russell Crowe in, for me, one of his finest performances next to Gladiator. At no stage was this tired, boring or featuring over-used cliches as seems to be the order of the day with a lot of films these days.
One for the PotC fans looking for a tad more realism and less high seas hijinks!
