Review of Masquerade (2012) by Michael H — 12 Feb 2013
Everything from low comedy to high drama; romance, intrigue, passion, suspense, and violence. Byung-hun Lee delivers a bravura performance which never quite succumbs to mugging clownishness in the comedic portions and often displays considerable dramatic skill.
The supporting cast gets some of the deepest laughs with often very subtle shifts of expression and rises to the dramatic moments as well. A beautiful, lavish production.
