Review of M*A*S*H (1970) by Kevin W — 20 Mar 2010
Robert Altman is a master of cinema. He is one of the greatest directors of all time. This was his first masterpiece. A hilarious, dark comedy about doctors during the Korean War. Filled with amazing, off the cuff performances, especially by Donald Sutherland and Elliott Gould, and a cool soundtrack, this is truly as unique a war film as you will see and as perfect direction as you will see by Mr.
Altman.
