Review of M*A*S*H (1970) by Johnny D — 29 Oct 2007
At first I didn't know what to think, it seemed oddly put together. But when I reflect upon it and stop comparing it to the familiar TV show, I find that this is a good film. It's interesting way of framing war time and drafted men's morale.
I think the whole piece is on realism about how one escapes fully from the surrounding horror, Altman is tough to never braved into that area.
