Ensemble dramcom king Robert Altman's finest hour, this portrayal of the antics of a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War deserved its place amongst The Guardian's 175 greatest films of all time.
Spawning a TV series that ran from '72 til '83 you cannot fault Altman's expert handling of such a multi-charactered storyline. Brilliant.
