Branagh runs around screaming (overacting) as if he has a mountain porcupine up his ass. Helena Carter looks like she's been to a 'The Cure' concert throughout the movie, and I kept waiting for Robert De Niro to go; "are you talkin' to me?". He could have used an extra layer of make-up or five...
One star for following the book so closely though.
