Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Jamie B — 09 Dec 2007
Lacks the impact that the brilliant opening promises (probably the most effective opening 20 seconds I can remember seeing). Certainly introduces the case for Branagh being a 'flamboyant realist;' endless examples of directorial style that made him a director to watch.
