So sue me... I enjoy the film.
Doyle's score is a major part of the atmosphere, possbly more so than in any of Branagh's other films.
As always, the Branagh Regulars (Richard Briers and Ian Holm in this film) are a welcome part to his movies.
Visually stunning... much better than Coppola's "Dracula".
Becomes very uncomfortable in the scenes following Elizabeth's death... possibly more than Branagh intended.
One of the few films of the 90s where De Niro is occasionally subtle (another is "A Bronx Tale").
