Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Riyako H — 14 Aug 2009
Brilliant, Sad, Amazing, a constant machine of learning!
The acting was marvelous! Helena Bonham Carter and De Niro did BLOODY FANTASTIC! I must be honest, but the hole cast did amazing! The way it was filmed, the effects, the make up, costumes, music, all was marvelous! I do recomend this film, and if you havent read the book, DO IT TOO! Both are bloody outstanding! Mary Shelley's has a true and lovely imagination of seeing how we humans need to accept God's will. We are born of a mother, who did a beautiful thing with a father, and created life. We dont need a machine to create life, because nobody is perfect. As all people say: "God dosnt create horrible things, create beauty".
A thing I need to add: We need to accept people as they are, not because they dont look pretty they are monsters. If you put a little bit of make up, you can....bloody hell, no make up, leave it as it is! See, thats an example.
We need to accept us as we were created, as humans, with errors, difficulties, love, sickness, all we have inside. Without the mind, you cannot think, let the heart beat, let the air breath, without mind, their is no soul.
I loved the film. And Im in love of the book!
