More enjoyable then the dracula film that was made around the time. no such a gothic setting and the story is change in certain respects but was sill a decent stab at the story.
Branagh did a great job as the troubled frankenstein and de niro as usual is awesome as the monster (the make up wasn't as extreme as previous movies) even if his voice is a bit american?? Lots of nice cameo's from englands finest including ian holm john cleese and the great richard briers!!
Some bits are abit cheesy in places....ready for another reworking of the story maybe??
