Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Lucas Y — 16 Nov 2009
Interesting adaptation that hasn't aged well at all. With all the amazing movies that came out in 1994, I'm surprised DeNiro took this role. He's the best part of the movie by far, but shows up a little too late.
The suspense is good & the sets are inspired, but this was just a little too boring for me. Kenny Branagh was fine behind & in front of the camera. Interesting to see Tom Hulce too considering he hasn't done much in the 90's & up.
