Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Sean C — 14 Mar 2010
The best part of this movie is, of course, De Niro's performance as Frankenstein's monster. I do not understand the deliberate over-the-top theatrical style Branagh brings to the story of Frankenstein, and he has other directorial choices that either don't explain themselves or just plain don't work.
However, this is a movie worth seeing.
