Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by C.r. L — 28 May 2010
So this is the Frankenstein as Mary Shelley wrote it. Supposedly, cause I've only read the first 110 pages. The book started to get a bit dull but that's nothing compared to this movie! Oh god, how bored I was. It's so overdramatic. And how the hell did the monster learn to speak and even to read?! Also the bride was created for him.
I'd much rather recommend the 1930s films Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein (probably not the other sequels).
