I wish this film hadn't been so corny in some-er, make that most scenes. I enjoyed watching, but I think it could have been better. I really wasn't impressed with Branagh as Dr. Frankenstein. And Robert De Niro as the monster? Why? The thing I will complain about here is that this film has a little of everything in it but not enough of anything to make it feel solidly put together.
It was sloppy, cheesy, and sometimes downright weird. I must say that despite these things, if you are a fan of classic horror you will enjoy it and it does provide some entertainment. Helena Bonham Carter shines as always.
