Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Elizabeth C — 27 Oct 2011
Maybe it's just the English major in me, but it was really fun to see a more faithful adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel. Kenneth Branagh does make some changes, of course, but he also brings out the true, grotesque horror of the original story.
Plus, it had enough corsets and doublets to keep my wife happy. This is a unique and interesting film.
