Meh! Artlessly directed... Is it drama, horror, suspense, what? Poorly and yet curiously smugly written. John Malkovich does his usual boring sturm und drang, but even more listlessly than usual. Julia Roberts (and y'all know how much I love me my Julia) struggles desperately to stay on top of her Irish dialect and delivers a obviously un-directed, underwhelming performance.
Zero chemistry between the two of them, but who can blame them?
