Review of Mary Poppins Returns (2018) by Diana M — 18 Jan 2019

I liked the movie despite the fact that deals with deep motivations that are not easy to grasp if you're looking for a lighth-hearted movie. In a sense, it has the same structure than the Classic much of us have come to love, and the characters are all equivalent to the ones previously presented.

The songs are lovely but fit better with a pop album than a musical movie. All in all, it was a nice movie but far from being the one you'd watch over and over.
