Loved it and didnt expect to because the first one was so well done, a timeless classic, that I didnt think the remake would be as good. The references to the original movie scattered throughout was nice, Dick Van Dike dancing on his desk was awesome! At 92, wow.
Angela Landsberry was as good of a balloon lady as she was a bird lady. Emily Blunt pulled off the role of Mary Poppins well, in her own way but keeping true to Julia Andrews and the Character. I even got tears at the end when she departed.
Im not a hige fan of remakes but this one satisfied.
