Review of Mary Poppins Returns (2018) by Tony%20 R — 03 Jan 2019

I saw the original when it came out in 1964 at the age of 5. I was mesmerized by that movie and I was not disappointed by this one. True, Mary Poppins had new songs for the children, but it worked for me.

I saw this as a good followup that it is rather than a remake. I loved Emily Blunt's portrayal almost as much as Julie Andrew's but that could be due to sentimentality.
