This movie comes off as an off-brand knock-off that failed to live up to the original. Emily Blunt gives Mary Poppins a smug and passive aggressive air that Julie Andrew's performance did not have.
Although it was good to see the characters from the original film back again, the timeline does not make sense and their problems were solved much too easily.
