Review of Mary Poppins Returns (2018) by Charlotte W — 28 Dec 2018

I highly enjoyed this movie. Personally Mery Poppins was never one of my favourite movie but I really enjoyed it when I happen to watch it. Overall I think I personally prefer the original however if I look to singular performances there are a few that I think are better than any in the original, for example "A Cover Is Not The Book" and "Trip a Little Light Fantastic" were phenomenal, both the music and the choreography.

I think that Blunt was absolutely fantastic in this role, I have no complaints about her performance whatsoever. The overall feel of this movie a lot sadder than the original which felt more lighter (we during the Great Depression afterall).
