I enjoyed this movie. On ownit's own, this movie is fun, clever, and whimsical. However, as a sequel, it could have been more original. The overall plotline, the songs, and where the songs fit into the musical, were almost the same as the first one.
The reason this movie works is the same reason The Force Awakens worked: it is the same as the first one.
