Review of Mary Poppins Returns (2018) by Emery A — 01 Jan 2019

I thought it was really faithful to the original while still being its own thing, which is a lot for a reboot of a classic. I think they handled this really well compared to some recent sequels/remakes (cough Beauty and the beast cough) and it really had a classic Disney feel that I think has been missing for a while which you could only get by rewatching classics or visiting Disneyland.

Not my favorite Disney movie but I still really enjoyed it. 8/10.
