Disappointing.This is the 1st time a movie has been so bad, for me, that I was rooting for none of the protagonists. Also what happened to the heirloom,loved, bowl Mary Poppins stole and handed off in "Diagon Alley"? How are they ever getting that back? Songs that almost sing, magic that almost magics, and BMX bikes! Why BMX bikes, twice? The BMX bikes just ruin it among other things.
The creepy, window peeping, stalking lamp turner, is creepy,he's badly cast, and in almost every scene. Micheal and Jane are terrible. Those 3 actors ruin the hard work of every one else. It was still fun to watch, other than the parts where it was cringingly bad.
I would say this movie is fun, but it is not good.There are great performances by all but 3 actors.And yes, they do ruin the whole thing. Also this is 100% not believable, as a pre world war II, London, 1930's era, setting.
