Kinder, Gentler feel good movie...Really enjoyed this more than expected. Think of it as a updated take on the original plot line. Predictable to an adult who grew up seeing the 1964 version, yes but satisfying.
Songs as good as what the Sherman brothers crafted originally, no; but catchy none the less especially in a day when musicals are usually second class productions. Excellent job by Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, and Dick Van Dyke.
I Recommend and I Will purchase dvd to watch at home.
