I loved it. My only slight niggle was Emily Blunt's over the top posh accent. But, after a while, I warmed to its camp element. She was very arch and I loved her raunchy musical hall performance, which pne reviewer thought was disgraceful.
Mary Poppins was always a flirt and rule breaker -- to me she symbolises the good in life and that includes fun and mischief.
