A true homage to the original.
I was a bit apprehensive about seeing ths movie. How can a sequel do justice to the original. But I actually believe it's as good, if not better, than the original. The acting was superb, the music and dance was terrific, and the screenplay and directing were top-notch. It's a couple hours of pure pleasure. I may even go and see it again.
