Great movie! don't know why some people didn't like it. it does it's own thing while still being nostalgic in all the right ways. I would highly recommend this movie and the singing and acting is very good.
Curious to why some people didn't like the singing. Granted I love musicals so people that don't like it are probably not big musical fans. If you loved the first Mary Poppins (who didn't) than you will really like this.
Nothing will ever hold a candle to the original but it is still an amazing film on it's own right. It is a long movie (so was the first) but I prefer longer movies. Give it a try and trip a little light fantastic.
