Before I get to the movie, in my viewing, 75% of the audience was elderly. I was thinking this movie's audience is going to be all over the charts. Families going to see it. Older viewers going back to re-visit early memories of the original.

To the movie......Emily Blunt was amazing. The special effects were a lot of fun and very imaginative. For almost all of the movie, I had a smile on my face. Wouldn't we all like to take a bath in Mary Poppin's world. Or who wouldn't have a blast visiting a land on a china bowl? The movie was just a lot of fun. Kudos to the musical number with all the chimney sweeps.....not quite "Step In Time" but pretty close. My one critique of the movie...and it's a small one....no memorable music....no "Feed the Birds" or "Spoonful of Sugar" of "Step in Time" or "Supercalifra......" I saw the movie 1 hour ago and give me $100 to name one song and you keep your $100. Other than that, it was a fun movie and I enjoyed it a lot.
