As a film it's imperfect, but as an theatrical experience there's something whimsical to see original Disney Magic back on the big screen . From beginning to end it's a piece of cinematic joy so much needed in this age of rote cinematic underoo universes and sequel rot.

But that being said the narrative isn't very strong and only serves as a loose placeholder between catchy if not forgettable songs and the main children used are straight off the obnoxious theatre kid stereotype checklist.
