We just watched "Mary Poppins" with Sophia. I had never seen the whole movie before, and it was delightfully entertaining. The songs are familiar, but really come to life with Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke.
The parts where animation combined live actors were charming. The "Step in time" production number was amazing. They got a lot of mileage out of the joke about the man with the wooden leg. Sophia was laughing and clapping throughout the show, but I was really happy with how entertaining I found it.
Great show for the family, and even just the parents!
