Review of Mary and Max (2009) by Ricky G — 18 May 2011
This is the claymation equivalent of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time", the unlikely but sweet friendship that starts and grows between a forty-ish New Yorker with Apserger's Syndrome and an 8 year old social misfit in Oz.
Its everything animation for older children/adults should be, Mary and Max have carved out a little space in my heart.
