At first watching this, I thought whoa... the claymation is a bit odd and it looks like it's going to be a bit too 'kiddy' for me. As the movie progresses, it changes into something different, very adult, very emotional and heartfelt(at times also a bit depressing).
It's something totally out of the ordinary and I was pleasantly surprised.
