Mary and Max, a funny and cleverly dark animation with a message that will relate to anyone and everyone. One thing everyone can appreciate about this film is its originality, I've never seen anything quite like this; an animation that looks at very dark subjects such as mental illness, and in top of that manages to be pretty funny at the same time.
The use if narration is different and original, and the way colour is used within different environments is also clever, topped with some funny and very good animation. It's overall an interesting and intriguing concept that really pays off.
