Presence of the two Oscar winning actresses are great. Their convincing performances spark and create strong strains in the introductory scene that the two sisters see each other again after 20 year estrangement.
Meryl was 47 and Diane was 50 when the movie was released. Leonard was only 22. I believe the young actor has received significant influences by distinguished actors under the circumstances like this as I watch his recent performances.
