Not your usual horror flic - more a medley of sub-genres: classic monster movie, psycho thriller and gore-fest. Its cruel story keeps you with it and the end is open to interpretation. As for the goriness of it: more mainstream movie goers will be appalled - I expected it to be on a level with The Audition.
Nevertheless, at least it's not your standard run-of-the-mill Hollywood horror movie.
