A visceral gut-punch from our neighbors to the north. even though this is canadian (and some of its bodily preoccupations make it uniquely so), i'm gonna lump it in as part of the New French Extremity, with films like FRONTIER(S), INSIDE, ILS (THEM), TROUBLE EVERY DAY, etc.
worthwhile if this is your thing. I liked it.
