Review of Martyrs (2008) by Ol R — 03 Dec 2011
As a horror film it's totally bizarre: there's almost no structure, it flows between various sub-genres starting on revenge thriller to psychological horror, to torture to sci-fi. The non-linearity that the film epitomizes isn't always effective though, but there are still moments of relative genius.
