Review of Martyrs (2008) by Jacky L — 23 Dec 2012
Midway through the flick, I was convinced that this was a capital D of a dud, and that the director must've been male; it reeked of exploitation. two attractive leads do not a good flick make plus it felt more tiresome then scary, and had unnecessary gore.
Just then, the movie took a sudden turn.
Whoa.
The second half of the movie sure hell had some horrific images and would have you wincing or contorting your face. the plot was honestly quite bollocks ( now i've just about seen and heard everything ) but yet I couldn't help feeling triumphant when Mademoiselle _.
Anna, you go girl!
P.s. the ending will elicit some WTFs. whatever the case, the second half'd get your heart racing and you can be sure your mind'd be on overdrive after.
Not a bedtime movie.
P.p.s if you actually enjoyed the gore and violence, man, you are one sick fxxk.
