One of my all time favorite horror flix. If you can handle the overdubbed dialogue of french speaking actors, a large dose of torture porn, and abrupt plot changes, then you may like this film. If you read reviews of this movie on horror film web sites, you will find many horror fans are disturbed by this film.
If you have become desensitized to standard horror plots but crave that shocking reaction you used to get from the horror genre, then you need this film. Many may find it hard to stick with the movie for the first half hour or so, but the last 20-30 minutes are like a completely different movie.
The build up was worth it for me. If you believe the SAW movies were the greateat horror films of all time, you should avoid this movie.
