Review of Martyrs (2008) by Kari K — 17 May 2011

This movie literally blew my head off!! I hadn't read anything about this movie before watching it. It was pure luck that I had decided to check it out. When watching it, the story kept twisting so much that I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride.

I have never ment that feeling more for a movie more than this one. The extreme gore had me twisting in my chair I had to leave the room a couple times while watching. I was actually quite shocked that a film this much gory can have such artistic merit as this one does.

There are some beautifully grotesque scenes that left me in awe. Definitely not for everyone, but this film as to be seen by any self respecting horror fan. You won't be to get this film out of your head for days afterwards!
