Review of Martyrs (2008) by Travis M — 15 Jun 2011
A 52%?
W-O-W This is a primal example of how much wannabe credits actually know about films, they gave Justin Biebe's never say never a 64%? REALLY!?!
Martyrs was without a doubt the best horror film of the decade, It was a rebirth of the Exorcist, France is just taking over the horror genre, If Inside was a rebirth of John Carpenter's Halloween, then Frontiers must be a rebirth of The Texas Chainsaw massacre.
Martyrs was not your average horror film, where the blonde trips on a twig or the Black person ALWAYS dies first, Martyrs was something else, if anything Martyrs made me appreciate life more, its extraordinary, The violence in this film fitted in with the message.
The word "Torture porn" says more about the credits lack of logic, than the films extreme violence.
If Martyrs received its original score on RT than The Shawhank Redemption should receive Martyrs equal score.
