IMO this is one of the greatest horror films to come out in the last 15 years. Real, brutal and oddly spiritual. Torture-porn?! No ( whatever the hell that means anyway. What a stupid label that is!). Groundbreaking, yes! This is a serious brutal revenge flick that takes a nasty turn for the worst.
Martyrs set the standard for foreign horror for me, particularity the new French extremity. Watch it.......I did!
