Man 'brutal' is an understatement when it comes to this movie. The fact that it's happening to girls seemingly powerless in their situation just makes it all the more unbearable. That said, this is how you do a horror movie, or a so called 'torture porn' movie to be exact.
The ramifications of violence have never been more felt, I think, than in any other horror movie. Once that girl barges into that home with the shotgun, you're just thinking holy shit, holy shit, up until that ending which leaves you thinking about the mystery of it all.
