Review of Martyrs (2008) by Grayson W — 19 Feb 2015
This film surprised me. For starters, I absolutely HATE the "torture porn" genre, which some reviewers have lumped this film into, but it clearly does not belong there. Very intelligent script with a number of unexpected twists.
While hardly a perfect film, the few flaws in plot are minor enough to be overlooked. Well worth seeing twice. 5 well earned stars.
