Review of Marty (1955) by Luc L — 11 Jun 2011
Often referenced as "the original 40-year-old virgin" (what a humorous reference), Marty still ranks as one of the purest and most sincere portrayals of human tenderness. Borgnine gives away an immortal and very-few-times-surpassed performance as a man whose primary personality features and subsequent actions seldom find a suitable place in social conventionalisms. Much more than just a drama flick.
86/100.
