Bizarre vampire film from Romero that features a character is possibly a vampire but without fangs or any of the other vampire accoutrements but who does thirst for blood. Romero equates this with the lust for sex and Martin proves to be sexually conflicted and unable to engage in sex except on his sedated victims.
A truly strange meditation on family life, sexuality, and neurosis.
